</pre>这个说的很清楚，版权持有人是每个作者自己，正是由于你写了这些源代码，正是由于你是版权持有人，你才有权力应用什么许可证发行你的软件。发行软件的法律基础是版权法（copyright law），通常的专有软件许可证是依靠版权法，建立了版权持有人和用户之间的权力的不对称，并构建了商业模式。GNU GPL也是一个基于版权法（copyright law）的许可证，只是这个许可证的目标和专有软件许可证恰恰相反，其定义的内容是如何捍卫用户运行、学习、修改和发行软件的自由度。作者写了软件，如果认同这个价值观，就可以采用这种类似的许可证发行你的软件，这样，就可以保证你的软件是自由软件，但这不等于你放弃了软件的版权，即你依旧是版权持有人。由于这种许可证的目的和风格和其他的完全不一样，因此，就发明了一个新的术语，说这是copyleft。<br>
