Alex,
Can you manually set your browser's Character Encoding to UTF-8? Can this
way solve your problem? The following contents are in Chinese. Can you read
it smoothly?

在浏览器看邮件的时候选择编码为UTF-8看看行么？

我在mailman加入邮件列表的时候，选的也是English，我到目前为止一点问题都没有。

BTW，我最近收到Alex Zhang的feedback后，用我的Nokia 6120c手机，用其上的Opera-8.65、Opera
Mini4、Nokia自带的浏览器登录了Gmail查看数种编码的中文邮件，包括：GB2312、GBK、BIG-5、GB18030、UTF-8。发现都显示完全正常。然后又用公司的苹果imac的Firefox和Safari也都没问题。

并且我的Gmail的Display Language和Alex Zhang的一样都是English(US)，。奇怪了...
