The basic problems he is thinking about is how to design efficient mechanisms to give incentives to the users and developers which can improve the movement of Free software and Opensource.

Kong Jianjun <jianjun@zeuux.org>

A Boy borned in Fengxiang, Shaanxi Province in 1986, a college student

I am an activist of Free Software and have two years experience on GNU/Linux. I am very crazy about the software development in application and system. Furthermore, my jumping thinking is always the fount of programming inspiration and my big patience makes me debug programs in peace. In my leisure time, I love to play musical instrument and Karaoke.

Deng Nan <monnand@zeuux.org>

Male, born in 1986.

I began to use GNU/Linux when I was in high school. For my experience of programming, I was recommended by my high school --- HuiWen high school --- to Chinese Academy of Science of Software and Institute of High Energy Physics of Chinese Academy of Science to do research concerning about Spam filtering during that time. Because of these opportunities, I always thought I was a lucky one. However, things became ridiculous after I entered into university: I only got a mid-grade mark in java course although I have been programming for seven years; I could not pass a course so-called ``Principles of Marxist Philosophy'' even I have read several philosophy books; I did a program as my course work and its originality was doubted by my teacher, so that I was judged to be cheating...

With a bitter smile, I comfort myself and say "this is a training from God". Finally, I am wandering in my campus or in the city along with a free heart spreading my opinions and making friends. Luckily, I have got series of confidants and we match each other quite well. After a not so short period, a community of Free Software in my university was built by us. We gather people for a discussion, hold lectures to spread the thoughts of Free Software.

I will graduate in recent future, and the future is uncertain nevertheless. By reviewing my experience, it is hard to draw any conclusion. The training from God may be only a joke.
